Asks the adventurers to spare the Knight in Living Armor [[Culpa]], saying that the knight is misguided and that he wishes to spare him from a terrible fate. He produces a [[https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Deck%20of%20Many%20Things#content|Deck of Many Things]], forces the Skull card to the front, and offers it for the defeated knight to choose. [[Culpa]] takes the card, his soul being severed by the avatar of Death summoned. Mendalaive takes a moment to make comments to specific members of the party, before disappearing back into the shadows. |
