====== Twitch D&D Cheat Sheet ====== This page is meant to be a starting place for new players to get up to speed for Alkali's Dungeons & Dragons Experience twitch.tv show. ====== Character Info ====== * Starting level: 5 * Use point buy for the primary 6 stats. This is a calculator you can use to figure it out * Apply the level progression bonuses for your chosen class(es). We have some of them on the wiki here. * Ideally create a character sheet for yourself * PLEASE HAVE A NAME! ====== How it Works ====== Everyone in the twitch.tv stream are the players. When you are ready, in the chat introduce yourself. No need to worry about how your character appears, by default your character will show up through a rift in the Ethereal plane. ===== Chat Notes ===== * By default, messages are in character. * Want to speak out of character, or OOC? Wrap the message in parenthesis: ( this message is OOC ) * When you send messages, try to put your character name in front: Draggor: Hey mister dryad, how is your grove today? This helps alkali know who the character is separate from the twitch user name. * If you need to make a dice roll of any kind, signal in the chat, and Alkali will take care of it, with a mix of on camera and off camera rolls. ==== Helpful Pages To Start With ==== start is the root of our wiki, and you can access most of our wiki through it, including: the Session Recaps section, where all our sessions are summarized if you want to catch up, and: the Chat Party Members page, where you can find descriptions of all of chats' characters. ====== Useful Links ====== * https://www.5esrd.com A website/wiki that has nearly all rules and details from the 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook * https://chicken-dinner.com/5e/5e-point-buy.html A player stats point buy calculator
