===== Session 6: 2024-05-27 =====
  - The party gathers themselves after the ordeal of taking the occupied mines, where the missing members of [[Clan Blighteye]] were held. They lead them back to their encampment.
  - The fire is already lit a massive bonfire in the middle [[Clan Blighteye]]'s settlement, the wafting smells of food welcoming the party, as they are ushered into their camp for the first time by an honor guard.
  - Fireworks are light up the sky as the celebration starts, the returning gnolls dispersing into the crowd, welcomed back by their family.
  - The chieftain, [[Kryeg]], speaks to the party, telling us that we have proven ourselves to be more than just allies, giving a grand speech [[#[1]]]
  - Several party members, including [[chat_party_members#grove_tezcatmagicjag|Grove]], [[chat_party_members#blank_slate_paralitez|Blank]], and etc take up the offer of markings, becoming honorary brethren [[#[2]]] to the clan.
  - The chieftain, listening to [[chat_party_members#remir_davenevius|Remir]] speak of the unity of their own tribe, gives them [[chat_collective_items#Sending Tokens]] to help them stay together. [[#[4]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#sirocco_gael_cactusbat|Sirocco]], sharing the night with two gnolls, learns of a bird-like creature, walking on two legs with two snake-like heads, with a tail of deep-white rust color. They, along with the elven woman [[Paige]], were encountered, the 3rd member of their scouting party being turned into stone with a single glance from the creature. The two others made it back, warning the rest of the tribe.
  - [[chat_party_members#chanur_chanur2000|Chanur]] approaches the shaman, being acknowledged for their commitment to protecting the party's patient.
  - [[chat_party_members#steve_johnson_zionboyman|Steve]] goes straight for two barrels of ale.
  - [[chat_party_members#Ciym_autofox90|Ciym]] watches as two gnolls fight for dominance, the female coming out on top, deducing that they are mated, a rare occurrence for gnolls.
  - [[chat_party_members#yavog_silence042|Yavog]] helps heal those with injuries from the rowdy celebrations, eventually sitting down and learning more about them, about their ways and their beliefs. [[#[5]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#taki_asherdragoone|Taki]], in going to speak with the shaman, instead finds themself in an empty tent, a single figure in brown, mousy robes and a wide-brimmed undertaker's hat sitting behind the fire: [[Mendalaive]]. They talk to the kobold, expressing their shared interest in necromancy and making them an offer [[#[6]]].
  - [[chat_party_members#redden_reddenab|Redden]] prays to their gods, giving a howl to the skies, the gnolls joining them, their god taking notice, giving them visions of the beastlands, a confirmation that it would be alright to take the markings of [[Clan Blighteye]].
  - [[chat_party_members#remir_davenevius|Remir]] visits the shaman, speaking of technologies and theory [[#[7]]. They teach them how to apply toxin to their weapon. [[#[8]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#gork_gorkenson_gaiusdeer|Gork]] drinks, sharing stories, their dreams, how the tribe more than settlement. Their scouting more than scouting, any gnoll in the tribe that wants to join in scouting can. They share their experiences, and they share in that. [[chat_party_members#gork_gorkenson_gaiusdeer|Gork]] learns of their fighting styles, of their maneuvers, gaining a Fighter Maneuver point [[#[9]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#eryx_sirus76|Eryx]] learns of the tradition of markings of honor, of history on the outsides of tents. [[#[10]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#taki_asherdragoone|Taki]] approaches the shaman, speaking of the urns with them, of how to create a vessel. The shaman speaks of memories, of a meditation that might help in building the walls of self to ready oneself to be the channel for the tendrils of the urns before channeling them into a chosen vessel. Also gains boon to concentration checks [[#[11]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#grove_tezcatmagicjag|Grove]] is taken to talk with two individuals, a dark elf and a wolf, [[Rose]] and [[Lencil]]. They have traveled the plain for a while, and have heard of the party's escapades. They tell of another encampment to the northwest, somewhat xenophobic, although slightly more friendly once they showed bestial nature. A creature in the middle of their encampment, chained, has an adverse effect on the [[Kay]] around it. Two of their travel companions left their side a while ago, and the tribe more than once had tried to take them. They hope their companion is okay, that they found the other one, Perri, burned by the [[Kay]], ask if we see [[Rudy]], to tell them that their family misses them. They also describe that the party might need a weapon: the tribe, [[Wolgal]], hides this monster behind their walls. They won't be friendly, but it might be worth it.
  - [[chat_party_members#sirocco_gael_cactusbat|Sirocco]] shares stories of those who came before, baring their soul with the tribe, creating a bond, a certain kinship. They are given a small wooden dove, a messenger bird [[#[12]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#chanur_chanur2000|Chanur]] is taught of poultices of the Kessel Hills, learning how to make small healing potions [[#[13]]].
  - [[chat_party_members#quack_qqh_designs|Quack]] performs an acrobatic show with another gnoll, gaining an inspiration.
  - [[chat_party_members#chanur_chanur2000|Chanur]], talking with the shaman, watches as they weave reed-like grass together, handing [[chat_party_members#chanur_chanur2000|Chanur]] a ring they recommend to sleep with [[#[14]]]
  - [[Exi]] helps the returned gnolls, finding those more seriously injured from working in the mines and healing them.
  - [[chat_party_members#Ciym_autofox90|Ciym]] founds a new [[Clan Blighteye]] tradition: FULL CONTACT DOMINOS.
  - [[chat_party_members#taki_asherdragoone|Taki]] is visited by an undead rat. [[#[15]]]
  - [[chat_party_members#blank_slate_paralitez|Blank]], from offering of mushrooms to one of the tattoo artists and sharing in it with them, gains a boon [[#[18]]].
  - [[chat_party_members#remir_davenevius|Remir]] speaks with a gnoll, speaking of one severed from the gods. [[Mendalaive]], immortality granted by something other than the [[Lord of Worms]]. They offer a warning: he will has never, and never will be part of a tribe.

  - [[chat_party_members#foxen_greyfoxenb|Foxen]], in an accident during one of their pyromantic displays, catches heated sand into their nose, giving them a flash of inspiration into the creation of flash powder [[#[17]]]

We can live symbiotically, sometimes. But you, your clan, has proven to be more. An offer, an honor, I grant upon you. You have protected my clan, you have protected my people. From this day forth, our walls are open to you. Our tribe symbols eligible to be etched into your flesh. If you wish to remain a friend, you may do so. If you wish to become a brother, you are invited. For tonight all of you share in the fire that has been burning since our great creator fell on top of the hills. Th torch in my cabin remains lit in remembrance, in reverence. This fire is his. A funeral pyre that will last through the ages, as long as tribe Blighteye exists. Please mingle, find merriment, enjoy the feast, and know that we are in your debt. I enjoy talking to some of you tonight, and to the rest of you, I remind you: every night could be a gnoll's last. We live our life to the fullest, for that is the only way to live. Enjoy your nights, for the days belong to the gods."

{{anchor:[2]:[2]}} There is a difference between friends of [[Clan Blighteye]], and brothers and sisters of the clan. Friends are wonderful things, those to converse with, to learn from, to share stories of how each other grow. However, the latter are more, those that they would give their life for, that they know: someone they cherish, ones whom have broken bread at their table, shared in their drink and their merriment. The history of their time together is the history of the tribe, and they are embraced into it.

{{anchor:[3]:[3]}} A gnoll symbol of power and family.

{{anchor:[6]:[6]}} [[Mendalaive]] acknowledges that the party and himself are pitted against a common enemy that he fought, and that our group does not stand in his way. He hs many questions, but only has time for one. He asks Taki of the urns, of their connection they made with the urns, one that he was unable to make. Something is happening, something he doesn't like because he can't explain it, and it is dampening him, especially in regards to the spellweavers.He requets an intact, still sealed, still working urn. He throws purple flame onto the ground, creating a complex undead creature, with highly inter-connected runes, demonstrating its purpose. An undead unseen by most of faerun, something engineered over lifetimes of research: Mend's [[Corpsemaster]]. He doesn't have to expend spells to create his army, don't need to control his undead through singular thoughts. He can split his willpower among his willpower, among these, and can control significantly more undead through this. He asks for the urn, in exchange for the recipe to make our own vessel. It will take time, research, and a few rare resources. The skin-grafting alone to make one of these could take months, but Taki seems different, their control shining through. [[Mendalaive]] means the party no harm, and as long as they stay out of his doings, he has no intention of meddling with theirs.

{{anchor:[7]:[7]}} [[chat_party_members#remir_davenevius|Remir]] speaks to the shaman, speaking to them of their technologies, the shaman sharing their own connection with nature, the two sharing theory. They ask to see [[chat_party_members#remir_davenevius|Remir]'s chamberlock pistol, after a while acknowledging their inability to understand such technologies far removed from their own. However, they do understand the slug, the small shell inside. The two speaks of the difficulties in poisoning it, of how to do so, eventually figuring out how to apply toxin to their shots [[#[8]]]

{{anchor:[10]:[10]}} The tents of [[Clan Blighteye]] bear the markings of the honors of those who dwell in the tent. Special lacquers giving them a see-through sheen are applied to other markings, denoting honors of those who had occupied the tent before.

{{anchor:[16]:[16]}} They learn of the tale of their chief who died upon the hill in fire defending them. They also learn of one of the tales of the night where the moon was directly overhead and didn't move for an entire cycle, bathing them with its light, a sign they took as being from the gods anointing them as a chosen tribe.
