Oh good, it worked.  For magical simpletons, this is a blend of Planar Shift, Power Word: Stun, and Possession.  Hmm, this vessel has only two hands, a pity.  Regardless, it is suitable.  This Draggor is not the only multiversal being.  Ones such as myself are aware, but when faced with opportunities of the infinte, one must choose their reality.  My choice is what you currently call Faerun, but will gladly use others as they suit my needs.  And for those I am addressing?  Puppeteers as you have been called?  I have never felt your presence as clearly as now, but make no mistake, your vibrations make subtle waves in *MY* world: I now know when I am being watched.

Regardless of your intentions, you Puppeteers are useful, and with that, I will bring to light details of our interactions so you may help me further.  The way my kind, Spellweavers as you call them, organize is to have a purpose, and execute it.  The one you saw at the entrance to the mines has a different purpose than I.  What is our purpose?  I wouldn't dare share, that would be telling!  As for why we, I, allowed you into our mines?  As mentioned already, you are useful.

Yes, there were battles, and the other denizens followed various orders in an attempt to maintain control, though some of you are more wise than first impressions give, a theme of that day.  The Moon Beam performed spectacularly, and what I would call losing valuable tools, you would call rescuing gnolls of Clan Blighteye, congratulations are in order.  Above all else, you did as I needed: you poked, you prodded, you explored, and most importantly, uncovered what I could not, all despite not even knowing what you had found!

Mirrors, primal gateways into what you otherwise cannot see, let me appear, only to be followed by that... thing.  That ferret.  Mendelaive.  That one of you... mortals, could wield such power, and correctly, offends the lessers of my kind.  I must give credit, I'm not used to having to concern myself in that way, with... existence, and continuing it.  But alas, as your kind does, as your kind... is bound to do, a mistake was made.  A lack of imagination, of possibility, let me put a stop to him, let me get what I came for.

I do look forward to meeting you all again, afterall, you WILL help me, you WILL give me what I need.  Be seeing you...
